Royal Academy of Dance Ballet
Founded in 1920, the Royal Academy of Dance has become a worldwide organisation, with more than 8,000 teachers working globally.
Here at The Ballet Press, we offer classes in all of the syllabi provided by the RAD, from Pre-Primary to Adult age groups and to dancers of all experience levels. Syllabus classes are often supplimented with free work that forms part of the ballet training process.

At The Ballet Press, your health and wellbeing are our biggest concern. For this reason, we use a number of factors, including age and ballet experience, to inform our decision about the best class level for each of our students.

Progressing Ballet Technique
Founded in Australia in 2012, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a conditioning and strengthening programme, designed by a former professional dancer, to help students develop safe and correct technique in their movement.
Here at The Ballet Press, we provide PBT as a suppliment to dancers' training, from beginners through to advanced. The PBT exercises require the use of some basic props (often used in Yoga and Pilates) that students will need to have access to.

At The Ballet Press, your health and wellbeing are our biggest concern. It is for this reason that we include PBT exercises in our training. PBT exercises help students of all ages to learn ballet movements in a safe way. PBT is offered as either a stand alone full lesson, as a side-by-side lesson with your ballet class or just as the ocassional supportive exercise within ballet class.

What Classes Should I Choose?
​
At The Ballet Press, we recommend taking a combination of ballet classes and PBT classes to help strengthen your body and improve your dancing. But the choice is yours! You can just take regular ballet classes, only PBT classes or a combination of both! Contact us to find out more!
