Christine Press (RAD RTS)

Christine grew up in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and The Philippines; moving around with her father's work. She took ballet classes in all of these countries, studying the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Australian Ballet School and Vaganova syllabi.

Christine had her first taste of teaching ballet at the age of 17, took up formal class teaching aged 24, and achieved the RAD Registered Teacher Status in January 2019, followed by Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) in October of the same year. She has taught in Malawi, Thailand, Mozambique, Senegal and Ireland, first entering students for formal RAD exams in June 2019. She has been working online with students across the world since the 2020 pandemic lockdowns began.

Christine teaches all of the RAD syllabus (Graded, Vocational and Discovering Repertoire), and supplements syllabus lessons with PBT exercises.
